Telenor is a Norwegian telecommunications company that operates in India under the brand name Uninor. The company has a license to provide mobile services in 6 circles in India, including Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Haryana, Maharashtra, UP East and UP West. Uninor has been facing financial difficulties in recent years, and in 2017 the company announced that it would exit the Indian market.

Telenor India was merged with Bharti Airtel in 2017, and is no longer an independent entity in India. Therefore, it is unlikely that Telenor will "come back" to India as a standalone company.
